All About Me!
I've lived around Wichita all my life and I graduated from Clearwater High School in 2004. I caught the radio bug soon after when I began attending Southwestern College in Winfield. After spending a year learning the ropes there, I took an internship with a radio station here in Wichita that turned into a part time job. Between my classes at Southwestern, my new responsibilities as the student General Manager of the college radio station, and my part time job doing radio in Wichita, I was a busy guy.
Somehow (I'm still trying to figure this one out) I got an award for Excellence in College Radio Broadcasting out of over a thousand other applicants from all of the country, Canada, England and Australia. Because of that award, I got offered a new job in between my classes at Southwestern. So I took the drive up K-96 and began work at radio station in Hutchinson. That job lasted two years and was so much fun.
I'm now graduated from Southwestern (great school, check it out @ www.gosc.com) with my bachelor's degree in Radio/Television, I still spend a lot of time at the college doing some digital media work for them and I get the opportunity to teach a couple radio classes.
I absolutely love spending time on the airwaves of Kissin' 102.1. I joined the Kissin' family in May of 2008 and wouldn't trade it for the world! I love spending time with my friends, my family and when I have free time I enjoy writing songs, playing my guitar, and listening to some of your favorite artists that we play right here on Kissin' 102.1!
